PETER JENSEN

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from S.U.N.Y Maritime College (1978) and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland (1997). He retired as a Commander from the U.S. Coast Guard (2009) and as an Emergency Preparedness and Response Advisor with Exxon Mobil Corporation (2017). Peter completed the Bayou Land Conservancy (BLC) Ambassador Training and also Certified as a Texas Master Naturalist (Heartwood Chapter). He was a member of the BLC Board, Trail and Conservation Crew. In addition, he volunteers at the Montgomery County Food Bank and is on their Safety and Training Committee. Peter is also on the Advisory Board and a Docent at the Houston Maritime Center and a Board Member of Houston Early Music. Peter is an avid outdoors' enthusiast and enjoys SCUBA Diving, Sailing and Hiking.
