Explore the location, trail access points, and surrounding natural spaces connected through the Lake Creek Greenway Partnership. Our greenway system is designed to support outdoor recreation, community connection, and environmental appreciation while providing visitors with convenient access to scenic pathways and open green spaces.
FROM THE INTERSECTION OF FM 1488 AND HONEA-EGYPT ROAD
Proceed north on Honea-Egypt Road. The road will change names to Sendera Ranch Drive and then Fish Creek Thoroughfare. Cross the bridge and look for the road sign that says “LAKE CREEK PRESERVE. NEXT RIGHT.” The entrance to the preserve parking area is your first right.
FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SH 105 AND McCALEB ROAD
Proceed south on McCaleb Road. The road will change names to Fish Creek Thoroughfare. Keep going south past the entrance to the Woodforest Golf Club on your left. Cross the bridge to the first left turn you can make. You’ll be making a u turn to the entrance of the preserve. Go back over the bridge heading north. You’ll see the Lake Creek Nature Preserve road sign that says that says “LAKE CREEK PRESERVE. NEXT RIGHT.” Make the next right-hand turn into the preserve parking area.

Exit onto Fish Creek Thoroughfare and follow the same directions as SH 105 AND McCALEB ROAD.
